Warehouse Laborer (Yard & Shop Associate)

The primary role of a Warehouse Associate/Shop Runner is to keep our shop organized, our equipment clean and ready, and our crews supplied with what they need on the jobsite.

Responsibilities:

Shop & Yard Upkeep

• Pick up, sort, and label tools and equipment

• Sweep shop floors and empty trash cans

• Restock office drink coolers

• Handle other shop maintenance and upkeep tasks

Vehicle & Equipment Cleaning

• Pressure wash (hot and cold) vehicles and heavy equipment

• Hand wash, detail, and vacuum interiors and exteriors

• Clean tracks with a shovel and general cleaning supplies

Lawn Maintenance

• Cut grass and weed eat

• Apply herbicide

Inventory Control

• Track all tools and equipment entering or leaving the warehouse

• Sort, mark, label, test, and stock items

• Create and maintain detailed inventory reports

• Identify missing, lost, or damaged material

Loading, Moving & Deliveries

• Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers

• Operate a forklift safely and within OSHA guidelines

• Make hot shot deliveries of equipment and material to jobsites

• Pickup supplies from vendors

• Move tools, equipment, and material as directed

• Assist mechanics, welders, truck drivers, and other craft workers as needed

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 23 years old

• Team player with a positive attitude

• Pass Pre-employment Assessments (includes BGC, MVR, drug test, & physical)

• Clean Driving record

• Punctual and reliable

• Valid driver’s license

• Ability to work in all weather

• Physical ability to complete strenuous tasks

• Physical ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl in awkward positions
