    Description

    Purpose

    The Warehouse Direct Fulfillment Lead expedites outgoing orders, routes incoming shipments, and maintains the general organization of the warehouse. This position supports day to day operations, leads the warehouse team, and processes product returns to receive a refund, replacement, or repair during the product's warranty period.

    • Compensation Type: Hourly
    • Reports To: Warehouse Manager
    • Schedule: 8am-4:30pm, M-F, some holidays and overtime may be requested


    Essential Duties

    • Shipping and Receiving
      • Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
      • Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
      • Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
      • Provide excellent customer service via phone and email
      • Research, analyze, and respond to routine and complex order status inquiries
      • Repackage inventory
    • Support Warehouse Operations
      • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse
      • Communicate with internal teams and upper management, relaying special order requests, customer concerns, product issues, or opportunities to the proper team member
      • Ensure that health, safety, and security rules are followed
    • Lead Warehouse Team
      • Act as a liaison between warehouse associates and warehouse leadership to create a fun and collaborative work environment
      • Function as Manager on Duty (MOD) when other managers are not present
      • Support the recruitment, onboarding, training and development of the warehouse team
      • Suggest and organize team building activities
      • Contribute to a positive working environment by being, approachable, respectful, responsible, and team oriented
    • Performs other related duties and projects as assigned


    Requirements

    • Education
      • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Experience
      • 2 years working in a logistics environment
      • Experience leading a team
    • Skills
      • Extraordinary customer service
      • Excellent problem-solving skills
      • Basic mathematics and financial knowledge
      • Basic knowledge of operating computers, POS systems, and various software packages including MS office
    • Abilities
      • Reliable and professional
      • Approach solving problems creatively and strategically
      • Friendly and engaging with all types of people
      • Gracefully adapt to periodic and rapid change
      • Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate others
