We're looking for someone who enjoys being involved in the day-to-day operation while also providing leadership, organization, and accountability.
Responsibilities:
Help establish and manage day-to-day warehouse and inventory operations.
Coordinate and participate in receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping, and material handling.
Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock reconciliation, and inventory-control processes.
Establish efficient material flow to support service operations, kitting, light assembly, repairs, and customer shipments.
Provide day-to-day leadership, training, and work direction to warehouse personnel as the operation grows.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment of stock and consumable items.
Utilize ERP/WMS systems to manage warehouse and inventory transactions.
Track warehouse and inventory performance and identify opportunities to improve safety, accuracy, and efficiency.
Partner with logistics, service, procurement, planning, and quality teams.
Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse environment.
Qualifications:
Experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, logistics, or materials management.
Previous lead or supervisory experience in a warehouse, distribution, or similar environment.
Strong understanding of inventory management, material flow, receiving, and shipping.
Experience working with ERP or warehouse management systems.
Hands-on leadership style with a willingness to work directly in the operation when needed.
Strong organizational skills and attention to inventory accuracy.
Ability to work independently and help establish processes in a new operation.
Forklift experience or willingness to obtain certification.
Manufacturing, industrial, or technical distribution experience is a plus.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative, down-to-earth approach.
