VP of Operations

Are you an ambitious Operations or Manufacturing leader ready to take the next step into a Vice President role?

We are partnering with a global advanced manufacturing business to appoint a Vice President of Operations to lead and develop its US operational organisation.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has already built a strong track record across manufacturing, supply chain and operational excellence, but is looking for significantly greater ownership, visibility and influence.

You don't necessarily need to be a VP today.

You could currently be a Director or Head of Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain or Procurement, a Senior Operations/Supply Chain leader, Plant Leader, or similar, and feel ready to step into a broader executive role with responsibility across the full operations function.

The role will give you responsibility across:

• Manufacturing and production operations
  * Supply chain, procurement and logistics
  * Production planning and inventory
  * Third-party and outsourced manufacturing
  * Operational performance, KPIs and cost optimisation
  * Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement
  * Operational budgeting and P&L performance
  * Organisational development and building high-performing teams
  * Supporting new product introduction and operational scale-up
  * Working with international manufacturing and leadership teams

We're particularly interested in people who have developed their careers within advanced manufacturing, industrial equipment, aerospace, engineering, automation, medical devices or other complex manufacturing environments.

You should be commercially minded, comfortable working across functions and able to demonstrate that you've improved the performance of manufacturing or operational organisations - whether through Lean, process improvement, supply-chain optimisation, cost reduction, scaling production or developing teams.

Most importantly, we're looking for potential as much as pedigree.

If you've reached the point where you're ready to move beyond managing part of an operation and want the opportunity to lead one, this could be a very interesting next step.
