MRM Health is looking for a VP, Creative Director, Copy who will think about our business and brands both creatively and strategically. This fearless leader will foster creative inspiration and fresh ideation as a team lead partnering with an art lead and overseeing a group of Copywriters. This person will manage multiple workstreams and carry a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of the creative department and big-picture agency initiatives.

Serve as the creative lead for a portfolio of business and inspires excellence across all disciplines
Lead by example to consistently inspire colleagues across disciplines to produce pioneering ideas and celebrated, world-class solutions that advance our clients’ brands, and by association, the MRM Health brand
Provide insight and expertise about the brands, disease states, clinical trials and data, and competitive products on multiple accounts, as well as on all relevant media and technology
Work as an integral part of MRM Health team by nurturing client and internal inter-disciplinary relationships
Ensure creative product is paramount, cutting edge, on strategy and defends approach
Partner in a truly seamless, collaborative way with cross-functional team members to ensure proper staffing, adherence to internal processes, and oversight of team delivery of work, ensuring it is on point, on time and on budget
Manages team with art lead and guides Copy team members, including regular one-on-one check-ins, writing and delivering annual performance reviews, and new employee onboarding; motivate talent, provide regular feedback, and identify opportunities for career advancement
Inspire and lead by example by setting professional standards for their team and by proactively identifying and resolving issues across the agency
Playa central role in agency leadership, embodying the culture and values of MRM Health.
Lead new business pitches, as opportunities arise
Responsible for the successful financial landscape including review of scopes of work, staffing plan, and utilization of staff
About You
10+ years of pharmaceutical Copywriting experience in a fast-paced agency setting
Compelling portfolio that showcases healthcare work and exceptional concepts
Pharmaceutical brand experience, with a primary focus on DTC
5+ years of supervisory experience, overseeing several creatives and various brands
Strong understanding of how strategy shapes brand messaging and creative
Excellent written communication and presentation skills
Comfortable in front of senior clients and in co-owning client relationships
Engaging presenter at client meetings; participates in discussions, serving up solutions and ideas
This role will be based in New York City. The salary range for this position is $190,000 to $230,000. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; the associated discipline; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee’s/applicant’s background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.

Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager. Our objective is to increase this requirement over time, and many of our agencies as well as Omnicom’s corporate group already require five days of in-office attendance.
