Job Title: Visual Inspection Engineer
Location: NY 100% Onsite
Duration: 12 Months with Potential Extension
Pay Rate: $50/Hr (DOE)
Employment Type: Contract on W2

We are seeking an experienced Visual Inspection Engineer to support automated vision inspection systems within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on expertise in camera tuning, automated inspection system optimization, troubleshooting, and qualification/validation.

Job Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience with automated vision inspection systems in pharmaceutical manufacturing

• Strong hands-on experience with camera tuning and vision system optimization

• Experience with Seidenader, CoBER/CorBER, SVI, or similar automated inspection platforms

• Ability to optimize inspection parameters and improve defect detection accuracy

• Experience troubleshooting vision systems and reducing false positives and reject rates

• Strong understanding of automated inspection equipment used in GMP manufacturing

• Experience supporting process validation, equipment qualification, and GMP operations

• Experience developing and executing SLC/lifecycle and engineering documentation

• Experience supporting new equipment startup, commissioning, and qualification preferred

• Experience supporting newly installed manufacturing/process lines is highly desirable

• Science or Engineering degree preferred

• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills

• Ability to work independently and make an immediate technical impact in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
