Electrical Engineer
Location: Midtown, NY (Onsite)
Salary Range: $100,000-$160,000 (based on experience)

Position Overview
A multidisciplinary architecture and engineering firm is seeking an Electrical Engineer with 3-7 years of experience in building systems design to join its MEP team. This role involves supporting electrical design and documentation across the project lifecycle, coordinating across disciplines, and contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Projects span healthcare, educational, commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities throughout PA, NY, and NJ.
Key Responsibilities
Support the design and analysis of electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, and special systems
Assist with projects through design, documentation, coordination, and construction administration phases
Coordinate with architects, MEP disciplines, owners, contractors, and consultants
Develop construction documents using Revit
Support short circuit, coordination, and arc flash studies
Participate in client meetings as needed
Ensure compliance with NEC, applicable codes, and industry standards
Qualifications / Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience
3-7 years of electrical consulting engineering experience focused on building systems
Strong experience with lighting, power distribution, and special systems design
Proficiency in Revit is required (AutoCAD experience a plus)
Strong communication and coordination skills
