Job Description

We are seeking a Principal-level Vision Systems Engineer with extensive hands-on experience supporting and tuning pharmaceutical visual inspection systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise with K rber (formerly Seidenader) Visual Inspection Machines and SVIM machine-vision systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on tuning, optimization, troubleshooting, and support of pharmaceutical visual inspection machines.

• Configure and optimize vision inspection parameters to improve inspection performance and reliability.

• Troubleshoot vision system and machine-related issues in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

• Support equipment performance, process improvements, and technical problem resolution.

• Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and technical teams.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant Vision Systems, Machine Vision, or Visual Inspection experience; candidates with 8+ years and strong hands-on expertise may also be considered.

• Hands-on experience tuning K rber/Seidenader Visual Inspection Machines.

• Strong experience with SVIM or comparable pharmaceutical visual inspection vision systems.

• Experience working with pharmaceutical manufacturing or other regulated production environments.

• Strong troubleshooting and machine-vision engineering skills.

• Must be hands-on; this is not a validation-focused consulting role.

• Recent client references required.

Preferred

• Experience with Cognex, Omron, or other machine-vision platforms.

• Ability to transfer machine-vision expertise across different vision software platforms.

• Experience with pharmaceutical visual inspection equipment and defect detection applications.
