Summary:
Broad Function
The Vice President of Operational Excellence is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving enterprise-wide performance improvement, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives. This position partners with executive stakeholders to optimize processes, enhance customer value, and build a culture of excellence using data-driven methodologies and best practices. VP, Operational Excellence leads transformation efforts across business units, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, scalability, and long-term sustainability of improvements.
Essential Functions
Promote, demonstrate, and instill Brock's Bsafe and Bbest culture in all aspects of the business
Develop and execute the enterprise Operational Excellence strategy aligned with business objectives
Lead large-scale transformation initiatives, including process reengineering and digital optimization
Establish standardized processes, governance frameworks, and performance measurement systems
Drive measurable improvements in productivity, quality, cycle time, and cost savings
Drive operational efficiency by identifying and eliminating waste, risks, and process gaps
Implement data-driven performance management, including KPIs, dashboards, and reporting
Build and lead a high-performing Operational Excellence team and capability-building programs
Partner with cross-functional leaders to improve end-to-end processes and customer outcomes
Lead change management efforts to ensure adoption and sustainability of improvements
Advise executive leadership on operational performance, cost optimization, and strategic opportunities
Working Conditions
Working conditions include outdoor and indoor field, yard, and shop locations.
Working indoors in an office environment
Utilization of Personal Protective Equipment is necessary.

Strong business and financial acumen
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in business or related field; Master's degree preferred
15+ years of progressive managerial experience in operations, process improvement, or transformation leadership
Experience in leading large scale operational excellence or transformation initiatives
