    Role Mission

    Own the performance of a blow molding value stream. Lead production, scheduling, maintenance, tooling, engineering, and technical resources to consistently hit targets for safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost—while continuously improving how work gets done.

    What You’ll Own

    • Production and Production Scheduling: translate demand into executable, efficient plans.
    • Maintenance & Reliability: preventive programs, downtime reduction, and equipment care.
    • Tooling & Engineering: capability, readiness, and process optimization.
    • Technical Resources: deploy expertise to solve problems and scale best practices.
    • Continuous Improvement: Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen initiatives that drive measurable gains.
    • Performance Management: track and improve KPIs across safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost.
    • Resource Optimization: maximize people, equipment, and capital utilization.
    • Capital Projects: scope, justify, and deliver on budget.

    Outcomes You’ll Deliver

    • Compliance with OSHA, EPA, and ISO standards.
    • Improved throughput, reduced scrap, and minimized downtime.
    • Budget discipline: effective control of labor, materials, and maintenance costs.
    • Robust root‑cause analysis and corrective actions embedded in daily management.
    • Stronger cross‑functional alignment to accelerate innovation and process enhancement.

    What You Bring

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
    • 5+ years of manufacturing operations leadership, ideally in blow molding and/or injection molding within the automotive industry.
    • Proven leadership across production, maintenance, engineering, tooling, and CI.
    • Demonstrated use of Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen to achieve operational KPIs.
    • Strong financial skills for budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
    • Preventive maintenance, equipment reliability, and capital project oversight experience.
    • Excellent coaching, team development, and succession planning capabilities.
    • Advanced problem‑solving and root‑cause analysis; effective communicator and collaborator.
    • Command of manufacturing metrics, production planning, and performance management systems.
