Service Designer (Journey Mapping & Experience Design)

Overview / Summary

We are seeking a Service Designer to partner closely with an Experience Lead within an aligned workstream. This role will focus on reviewing data and trends, identifying pain points, and mapping experiences to support business objectives.

The ideal candidate is an expert in Service Design and Journey Mapping within large organizations and can quickly learn organizational structures and navigate cross-functional environments. This individual should also possess strong visual design skills and the ability to create presentation-style deliverables that effectively communicate insights, recommendations, and experience strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with the Experience Lead for the assigned work alignment.
• Review data and trends to identify insights and pain points.
• Map and design experiences for aligned areas of work.
• Apply Service Design methodologies to support experience improvements.
• Create and facilitate journey mapping activities.
• Quickly learn and navigate organizational structures relevant to assigned work.
• Develop presentation-style deliverables that clearly communicate the story of the work.
• Use strong visual design skills to translate findings and concepts into compelling outputs.
• Participate in design thinking activities and workshops.
• Leverage AI tools to support journey creation, data analysis, and related activities.

Required Qualifications

• Expertise in Service Design.
• Expertise in Journey Mapping within large organizations.
• Proficiency in Figma.
• Experience reviewing and analyzing data and trends.
• Experience identifying pain points and translating findings into experience maps.
• Knowledge of Design Thinking methodologies and workshops.
• Strong presentation and storytelling skills.
• Strong visual design skills with the ability to create presentation-style deliverables.
• Familiarity with AI and emerging UX trends.
• Ability to quickly understand and navigate complex organizational environments.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Critical thinking and sound decision-making ability.
