Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM OR 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Job Summary

We are seeking a Utility Technician to support facility operations and maintain HKE standards within the rework area. The responsibilities may vary depending on the size of the facility, equipment, and operational requirements. The Utility Technician may work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the rework area, including pumping GP and sludging/removing waste.
• Shred plastic buckets, lids, sample containers, and other applicable materials.
• Load empty drums and totes into trailers for transportation to recycling facilities.
• Assist with the removal and handling of wastewater.
• Perform general housekeeping and maintain cleanliness throughout the facility as needed.
• Actively participate in SMART and other safety programs.
• Follow all EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety) regulations, policies, and guidelines.
• Operate equipment such as forklifts/industrial lifts and floor scrubbers.
• Support other related tasks and operational duties as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications

• Mandatory: Forklift experience.
• Ability to safely operate industrial equipment.
• Ability to work in a plant/facility environment.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and EHS requirements.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
• Willingness to perform physically demanding tasks, including material handling and housekeeping.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing, industrial, warehouse, chemical, or plant environment.
• Experience with waste handling, recycling, wastewater, or material movement is a plus.
