Position Introduction:
The University of Oklahoma is seeking a dependable and motivated Student Office Assistant to provide administrative support while gaining valuable professional experience in a collaborative office environment. Responsibilities:
- Perform data entry and maintain office records
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct inquiries
- Operate office equipment, including computers, copiers, and scanners
- Open, sort, and prepare incoming and outgoing mail
- Make copies and assist with document preparation
- Maintain filing systems and organize records
- Coordinate appointments, meetings, and small office events
- Assist with communication and coordination between departments
- Type correspondence, reports, and other documents
- Run occasional campus errands and provide general office support
- Perform other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:
- Must be enrolled in the term as a student at the University of Oklahoma.
- Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.
- Performing data entry
- Operating standard office machines - computers, copiers, scanners, etc.
- Answering phone calls and routing or taking messages
- Running errands
- Opening, routing and preparing incoming and outgoing mail
- Making copies
- Maintaining filing systems and records
- Coordinating/scheduling small office events
- Coordinating appointments and meetings
- Coordinating with other departments
- Typing documents, reports and correspondence
- Performing other related duties as assigned
- Ability to perform basic math functions; basic computer skills
- Basic functions in Microsoft products

- Currently enrolled as a student at the University of Oklahoma
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and maintain confidentiality
