Job Details:
- Pay: $35-43/hr
- Duration: 1 year
- Location: Cambridge, MA
- Support therapeutic antibody discovery projects using flow cytometry, B-cell workflows, immune library generation, and hybridoma screening.
- Execute established workflows including rodent immunization, serum titer screening, B-cell sorting, molecular cloning, and hybridoma culture/screening.
- Perform molecular biology techniques including PCR, VH/VL cloning, and immune library generation and QC.
- Prepare reagents and laboratory materials, maintain inventory and experimental readiness, and follow established laboratory procedures.
- Accurately document experimental procedures, results, and observations and maintain organized laboratory records.
- Analyze and summarize experimental data and communicate key findings and project progress to cross-functional teams.
- Support evaluation and implementation of new technologies and improved workflows for antibody discovery.
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Immunology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related scientific discipline with 2+ years of full-time laboratory experience.
- Hands-on experience with antibody discovery, flow cytometry, B-cell methods, hybridoma workflows, or related research techniques.
- Experience with PCR, molecular cloning, immune library generation, or related sample preparation.
- Strong laboratory organization and documentation skills, including reagent handling and inventory management.
- Ability to work independently, troubleshoot experiments, organize data, and communicate results effectively.
- Flow cytometry-based analysis or cell sorting
- Laboratory automation or high-throughput workflows
- Rodent/mouse research experience
- Hybridoma generation, culture, or screening
