Role Overview We are seeking an ETL Data Engineer to join a team delivering high-quality ETL and data integration solutions supporting Process Intelligence initiatives. The successful candidate will design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines and data models that feed process-mining platforms. Celonis and Celonis Platform Administration experience is optional. Candidates with strong SQL/PL-SQL, ETL, data modeling, and data integration skills are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, and implementation of ETL processes and data models to integrate source data into a Process Intelligence platform such as Celonis.
Participate in analysis sessions and collaborate with data analysts to document data mappings and ETL requirements.
Build reliable and secure connections to source systems using JDBC, Kafka, APIs, and other integration technologies.
Validate data ingestion and ensure data quality throughout the integration process.
Implement and optimize ETL pipelines for performance, scalability, reliability, and data integrity.
Design and implement audit and reconciliation processes to ensure data completeness and accuracy from application platforms to the process-mining environment.
Provide operational support for production ETL jobs and troubleshoot failures, data issues, and performance problems.
Define and enforce governance, access controls, and best practices for process data and ETL artifacts.
Collaborate with business teams, Project Managers, Business Analysts, and infrastructure teams to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and automation.
Support Agile delivery methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, and contribute to planning, estimation, and delivery activities.
