Description

Our client, an IT Services and Consulting company, is looking for a UAT Business Tester – Wealth Management & Brokerage Account Lifecycle for their Austin, TX/Fort Mill, SC/Hybrid location.

Responsibilities:

Plan and execute UAT for transition and transformation programs, including advisor and firm onboarding/conversions, book-of-business transfers, platform migrations, and system modernization initiatives.
Develop test scenarios, cases, and data that validate data mapping, migration accuracy, and business process changes across the old and new environments.
Perform end-to-end, regression, and parallel testing across legacy and target systems, including mock conversions and data reconciliation, to confirm no loss of data or functionality.
Log, track, and triage defects in JIRA or ALM, coordinating with program managers, developers, BAs, and business owners to resolve issues before cutover.
Support cutover and go-live readiness by providing UAT sign-off, participating in go/no-go decisions, and validating post-conversion results.

Requirements:

Data Migration & Conversion Testing Experience: Hands-on experience validating data mapping, reconciliation, and mock conversions in large-scale system or platform transitions.
UAT Test Design & Execution: Proven ability to design test plans, manage defects, and run regression testing using JIRA, qTest, or HP ALM, ideally within Agile or hybrid delivery.
Strong Analytical & Stakeholder Communication Skills: Ability to manage multiple workstreams, identify risks early, and communicate status clearly to program leadership and business
