    Business Office Manager – Pre-Employment Team (Key Position)

    The Business Office Manager for the Pre-Employment Team supports the operational, administrative, and compliance functions associated with pre-employment processing for candidates supporting the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). This position serves as a central coordination point between recruiters, security personnel, hiring managers, government stakeholders, and candidates to ensure timely onboarding and adherence to contractual and federal requirements.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Manage and oversee daily operations of the NGA Pre-Employment Team business office functions.
    • Coordinate pre-employment activities including onboarding documentation, background investigations, security processing, drug screenings, and employment verification requirements.
    • Monitor and track candidate processing timelines to ensure compliance with NGA and company standards.
    • Serve as the primary liaison between candidates, recruiters, HR, security teams, and government representatives regarding onboarding status and documentation requirements.
    • Maintain accurate personnel records, databases, reports, and tracking systems while ensuring confidentiality and data integrity.
    • Prepare status reports, metrics, and administrative documentation for leadership review.
    • Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and customer service within the pre-employment lifecycle.
    • Ensure compliance with federal regulations, contractual obligations, company policies, and security requirements.
    • Support audits, inspections, and internal reviews related to onboarding and personnel processing activities.
    • Assist leadership with workforce planning, staffing coordination, scheduling, and operational support activities.
    Required Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Management, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
    • 5+ years of experience in administrative operations, personnel processing, business office management, or related support functions.
    • Experience supporting government contracting environments, preferably within DoD or Intelligence Community programs.
    • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and personnel tracking systems.
    • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
    • Active security clearance or ability to obtain and maintain required clearance, as applicable.
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Prior experience supporting NGA, DoD, or Intelligence Community onboarding programs.
    • Familiarity with security clearance processing and federal hiring procedures.
    • Experience with compliance reporting and process optimization initiatives.
