Trust & Estates senior associate / of counsel

Our boutique law firm client is a full-service commercial law firm with offices in New Jersey, New York and Florida. They are seeking an experienced attorney to join their Tax, Trusts and Estates Practice Group as Of Counsel. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior-level attorney with deep experience advising high-net-worth clients on sophisticated estate issues.

• Advise clients on complex estate planning strategies, including the design, drafting and implementation of wills and trusts.
• Handle trust and estate administration matters.
• Counsel clients on business succession planning and family wealth transfer strategies.
• Provide guidance on charitable and philanthropic planning.
• Structure and implement family partnerships, family limited liability companies and other planning vehicles.

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in tax, trusts and estates law.
• Strong background in estate planning, trust and estate administration and related tax matters.
• Experience with sophisticated planning techniques and high-net-worth clients.
• Admission to both New Jersey and New York bars required.
• Prior experience in a law firm or comparable practice preferred.
• Excellent drafting, analytical, and client service skills.

• The expected salary range for this position is $250,000-$300,000 depending on experience.
