Position: Trial Attorney

Location: California- Hybrid or Remote

Compensation: $120,000 - $200,000, based on experience

Elevate is currently working with a prominent California litigation firm that focuses on high‑impact consumer protection and civil litigation matters. The firm has built a strong reputation for trial excellence and results-driven advocacy, with a growing statewide trial practice.

This role is designed for attorneys who want to be in the courtroom, learn rapidly from experienced trial lawyers, and progress quickly into senior trial responsibilities.

Position Summary

The Trial Attorney will join an active and fast‑moving trial team handling cases throughout California. This position offers substantial courtroom exposure, regular travel, and meaningful involvement in trial strategy and execution. Attorneys in this role are expected to be hands‑on, adaptable, and motivated to grow into first‑chair trial positions.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior trial counsel to develop and execute litigation and trial strategy
  • Appear at hearings, motions, and trials under supervision, with increasing responsibility over time
  • Participate in all phases of trial preparation, including discovery, depositions, witness coordination, and exhibit preparation
  • Prepare witnesses for deposition and trial, including factual review, mock examinations, and cross‑examination preparation
  • Manage assigned case responsibilities and deadlines with a high level of accountability
  • Support trial execution in court, including travel throughout California for hearings and trials
  • Contribute to overall trial readiness and team performance

Qualifications

  • Active and good‑standing membership with the California State Bar
  • Approximately 1-3 years of trial‑related experience, including jury trials, bench trials, or substantial trial preparation support
  • Strong written advocacy and courtroom communication skills
  • Ability to perform under pressure in fast‑paced litigation environments
  • Assertive, confident presence suitable for trial work
  • Willingness to travel frequently within California
