Treasury Analyst

This is a Boston based opportunity with a 4 day in office expectation (Monday - Thursday) with 1 day remote (Friday).

Who We Are

Wayfair is seeking a Treasury Analyst who will be an integral member of the organization as we build the Treasury function to match the current and future needs of the business. 

As part of a dynamic strategic finance team at Wayfair, the Treasury Analyst will need to be someone comfortable working in ambiguity and able to help the team scale and optimize its operations, understanding which areas to focus on to make meaningful impact. This person will be highly entrepreneurial, collaborative, analytical, and a creative problem-solver experienced in treasury and financial analytics.

Treasury involves critical activities such as liquidity planning, cash management, foreign currency (FX) trading, bank relationship and account management, letter of credit & bank guarantee issuance, and more. In addition, as a member of the corporate finance team, the successful candidate will also need to be a strong financial analyst and capable of building cross-functional partnerships across the organization both domestically and internationally.

What You'll Do:

• Prepare daily global cash position reports to analyze and reconcile prior and current day cash flows.

• Maintain global cash forecasts to ensure accurate reporting and support liquidity planning.

• Process electronic funds transfers, including intercompany transfers, FX settlements, and debt and interest payments in accordance with financial controls. Action ACH positive pay exceptions and maintain debit filters for global bank accounts.

• Facilitate foreign exchange trade execution and settlement, maintain settlement instructions, and update FX mandates with counterparties.

• Administer letters of credit and parental guarantees, including issuance, amendments, cancellations, and record maintenance.

• Lead bank account administration, including openings and closures, service changes, user access requests, authorized signer updates, and Know Your Customer requests.

• Maintain information and documentation for  SOX compliance and financial controls, including online banking entitlements, bank signers, and SOC1.

• Liaise with banking partners and stakeholders to resolve inquiries and tickets. Drive continuous improvement in bank relationships and reduction in bank fees.

• Troubleshoot H2H bank integrations with Finance systems and Treasury workstations, including SAP S4/HANA.

• Work cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, and Tech stakeholders to refine and optimize processes.

• Other duties/ad hoc projects as assigned.

What You'll Need:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field.

• 0-2 years of relevant Treasury and/or corporate finance experience.

• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including working with formulas and organizing/validating data.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with careful attention to accuracy and detail.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage deadlines, prioritize requests, and follow through.

• Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to work cross-functionally across categories and internal stakeholders.
