Traveling Sales Manager Position Overview
The Traveling Sales Manager for GH Brands is responsible for driving sales performance, reinforcing sales processes, and upholding brand standards across multiple retail locations throughout the state of Arkansas. This role operates as a hands-on leader in the field—actively engaging with customers, supporting sales representatives, and ensuring consistent execution of the company’s sales strategy.
The ideal candidate is highly mobile, results-driven, and thrives in a fast-paced retail environment where coaching, accountability, and customer experience are critical. This candidate should also be driven and have a desire to grow with the company as we continue to expand the brand.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales Support & Customer Engagement
- Greet and engage customers in-store to create a strong first impression
- Assist sales representatives in closing deals and overcoming objections
- Step into sales interactions as needed to support and secure transactions
- Ensure a high-quality, consistent customer experience across all locations
Sales Process Enforcement
- Monitor and enforce adherence to the company’s sales process
- Identify gaps in execution and correct them in real time
- Reinforce best practices in discovery, presentation, and closing techniques
- Maintain consistency in how the sales process is delivered across all stores
Coaching & Development
- Provide on-the-spot coaching to sales representatives
- Improve team performance through real-time feedback and guidance
- Support the development of both new and experienced sales staff
- Address performance issues promptly and professionally
Brand Representation & Standards
- Serve as a brand ambassador in every store visited
- Ensure all brand standards, messaging, and customer experience expectations are met
- Conduct store walkthroughs to evaluate presentation, energy, and professionalism
- Uphold company values and represent the organization with integrity
Travel & Store Support
- Travel regularly to retail locations throughout Arkansas
- Partner with Store Managers to align on performance and expectations
- Provide consistent support across multiple locations as needed
- Adapt quickly to different store environments and team dynamics
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail sales or sales management is preferred but not required
- Strong closing skills and ability to influence sales outcomes
- Ability to coach, mentor, and hold others accountable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
