Job Details Position: Wound Care Registered Nurse (RN) Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment Setting: Acute Care Hospital Location: Clinton, Maryland Start Date: October 19, 2026 End Date: January 18, 2027 Duration: 13 weeks Shift Duration: 8-hour day shifts Schedule: Monday through Friday, with 1 Saturday shift per month Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,780 - $1,870 Patient Ratio: 1:6 Orientation: 24 hours Weekend Coverage: Every 3rd weekend required Holiday Coverage: Every other holiday as needed Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics Charting System: Cerner Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience required Recent clinical experience within the last 7 years required At least 1 prior travel nursing assignment required Hospital experience required Wound Care Certification (WCC) required BLS certification required ACLS preferred WOCN preferred Cerner experience required Charge nurse experience preferred Must be comfortable working with a 1:6 patient ratio Flu vaccine required Responsibilities Assess, manage, and monitor a wide range of wound and skin conditions in an acute care setting Provide care for Stage I-IV pressure injuries and complex wound and ulcer cases Support patients with new and chronic wounds, ostomy care, and dermatologic conditions Perform wound assessments, treatment planning, and ongoing documentation in Cerner Utilize wound vacs and advanced wound care therapies as indicated Complete camera photography documentation in alignment with unit practice Collaborate with physicians, case management, and interdisciplinary team members to support safe, effective patient care Educate patients and families on wound prevention, skin care, and self-management strategies Maintain infection control, isolation precautions, and high standards of clinical practice Respond to changing patient needs in a fast-paced hospital environment Apply now for this Wound Care RN travel job in Clinton, Maryland, and join a healthcare team committed to quality patient care.
