Join a dynamic Surgical Trauma unit in Atlanta, Georgia, as a Registered Nurse. This high-acuity floor specializes in trauma and surgical care, handling patients including gunshot victims, paraplegics, and quadriplegics. The role offers a day shift with 36 guaranteed hours per week. Nurses on this unit manage a patient ratio of 5:1 and work collaboratively with nursing support techs, phlebotomists, and unit secretaries. Responsibilities include providing critical care, managing surgical trauma cases, and participating in detailed handoffs with the ED and admitting units. EPIC EMR experience is required, along with at least two years of specialty experience. BLS certification is mandatory, and ACLS is preferred.
