Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a positive healthcare environment.

Position Details

• Units Served: Telemetry
• Number of Beds: 36
• Patient Ratios: 1:3 (AM), 1:4 (PM), or 1:4 (AM), 1:5 (PM with patient care technicians)

General Information

• Type of Equipment: BiPAP, Heated High-Flow Nasal Cannulas, Alaris IV pumps, Kangaroo Feeding Pumps
• Documentation System: Meditech
• Staffing Requirements: Full-time staff requires 36 hours/week with every 3rd weekend rotation. Part-time staff works 48 hours/week with the same weekend rotation.
• Floating Policy: PRN staff floats one time per week, while Full-time and Part-time staff float based on a rotation.
• Patient Experience Requirements: Bedside shift report, hourly rounding, and daily leadership rounds.

Qualifications

• Certain Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS
• Advanced assessment and critical thinking skills
• Management of vasoactive drips
• Experience with central line or PICC line placement

Dress Code

The required uniform consists of charcoal grey scrub tops paired with charcoal grey or black scrub bottoms, and black or charcoal grey jackets.
