Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Telemetry unit position requiring NIHSS certification and prior acute inpatient RN experience.

Details

  • Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
  • Night shift, 6:45 PM-7:15 AM, 12-hour shifts, three days per week
  • Every other weekend required
  • Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

  • Active RN license (IN or Compact) currently in hand
  • BLS and NIHSS certifications required
  • Minimum 2 years of acute inpatient RN experience required
  • Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required
  • Epic EMR experience required

Additional Information

  • Perform patient assessments, care planning, and evaluation of clinical interventions
  • Provide patient and family education specific to care needs and discharge planning
  • Delegate tasks to licensed and non-licensed staff, functioning as a mentor/preceptor
  • Support teamwork, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance efforts
  • No local rate drop applies to this position
