Assignment Overview

We are seeking a skilled RN for a Telemetry unit in West Allis, WI. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of RN Med/Surg experience and be adept at handling various patient types typical within Med/Surg settings.

Assignment Details

  • Start Date: Not provided
  • Shift Details: 1900 - 0700, 3x12 Nights
  • Weekend Rotation: Every other
  • Holiday Expectations: Every other major holiday
  • Assignment Length: Not provided

  • Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2322 (negotiable)
  • Floating: Required to any Med/Surg unit as assigned by the House Supervisor
  • Charting System: EPIC

Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care in a Med/Surg telemetry unit
  • Utilize telemetry monitoring systems
  • Manage traches, chest tubes, and interpret cardiac rhythm strips
  • Administer medications such as Lasix, insulin, and heparin drips
  • Maintain wound vacs

Qualifications

Required:

  • At least 2 years of RN Med/Surg experience
  • BLS and NIHSS certifications
  • General Med/Surg skillset
  • Experience with EPIC EMR

Preferred:

  • ACLS certification
