Description

American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN for a night shift Nephrology Telemetry position requiring MO or compact RN licensure and NIHSS certification.

Details

  • Nephrology Telemetry unit within an acute care hospital
  • Night shift, 3x12 hours, 19:00-07:30
  • Patient ratios of 1:5-6
  • Every other weekend required, either Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday depending on rotation
  • No on-call requirements
  • Floating required within service line
  • Uses EPIC charting system
  • Peritoneal Dialysis experience needed

Requirements

  • Active MO or compact RN license required (compact must match permanent residence)
  • BLS and NIHSS certifications required
  • 1-2 years of RN experience preferred
  • Cardiac telemetry and cardiac monitoring experience with dysrhythmia interpretation and management
  • Experience with emergency response in a telemetry setting

Additional Information

  • Provide cardiac telemetry care including monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, and emergency response
  • Navy scrub color required
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Local candidates within a 75-mile radius are not accepted
  • Returning permanent employees must wait 1 year before returning to any facility within the health system as a traveler
  • Travelers may work up to an 18-month period before requiring a 3-month break in service
  • Maximum of 7 days RTO per 13-week contract, with no RTO permitted during the first week of orientation
