• Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00)
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,960 - $2,070
• Orientation: 36-40 hours
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Floating: May be required between units and nearby sister facilities based on census and staffing needs
• Charting System: Epic
• Patient Ratio: Approximately 1:5
• On-Call: Not required

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with compact license in hand at submission
• At least 1 year of telemetry nursing experience required
• Experience in a heavy neuro telemetry or acute care environment preferred
• Epic charting experience required
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Ability to care for post-surgical neurology patients and a variety of neurologic diagnoses
• Ability to float as needed to meet unit and hospital staffing needs
• Willingness to work weekends and a portion of major holidays
• Two professional references covering recent experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality telemetry nursing care for patients with neurology and neurosurgical needs
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
• Perform neuro assessments and support care for stroke, CVA, craniotomy, TBI, and spinal cord injury patients
• Administer and monitor treatments including BiPAP/CPAP support and procedural sedation when indicated
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to deliver coordinated patient care
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in Epic
• Maintain safe, efficient, and compassionate care in a fast-paced acute care setting
• Adapt to changing patient needs and unit assignments while supporting team goals
