- Schedule: Every other weekend required; float to meet unit needs

Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of telemetry nursing experience required
- Neuro experience required for this night shift opening; 6 months minimum neuro experience based on assignment needs
- Current Washington or compact RN license in hand at time of submission
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Experience caring for neurology, neurosurgical, and telemetry patients
- Strong NIH Stroke Scale skills and comfort with a high-acuity stepdown-style environment
- Epic charting experience required
- Ability to provide 2 professional references covering the last 3 years
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, compassionate care to telemetry and neuro patients with varying levels of acuity
- Monitor cardiac rhythms, interpret dysrhythmias, and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Perform neuro assessments, including NIH Stroke Scale evaluations, and escalate concerns promptly
- Support patients recovering from stroke, craniotomy, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, and other neurological conditions
- Manage respiratory support equipment such as BiPAP and CPAP when needed
- Assist with chest tubes, procedural sedation monitoring, and pre/post-neurosurgical care as assigned
- Float between units and nearby sister facilities as needed to meet patient care demands
- Work collaboratively with the care team to maintain excellent patient outcomes and a positive unit culture
