Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring 1 year of MS/Tele experience and a PA or Compact RN license.

Details

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• 1:6 patient ratio
• Rotating day and night shifts on a 3x12 schedule (6:30-19:00 or 18:30-7:00)
• Every other weekend required
• No floating required within scope

Requirements

• Active PA or Multi-State/Compact RN license
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of MS/Tele experience required
• Experience with nasal cannula, oxygen administration, and oxygen tanks required
• Telemetry experience preferred
• Cerner charting experience preferred

Additional Information

• Navy blue scrubs required
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius to be eligible for the travel rate
• Local candidates within the radius are not accepted
• Candidates must be available to work every other holiday
• Block schedule accommodations are subject to manager approval based on unit needs
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Former permanent employees of the facility are not eligible to return as travelers
• Travel pairs may be accommodated based on facility need, though matching schedules cannot be guaranteed
