Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Telemetry/Med Surg position requiring a CO or compact RN license and at least one year of specialty experience.

Details

• Med Surg 2 unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours weekly)
• Uses Epic for clinical documentation
• May be required to float to other departments based on business need and within scope of competency
• May be required to take on-call shifts during a regularly scheduled shift

Requirements

• Active RN license (CO or compact) required
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• ACLS, NRP, or PALS certification as appropriate for the unit or service
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in the specialty being applied for required
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• Epic charting experience required

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical duties in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, including health teaching and counseling
• Monitor and review therapy and treatment plans, refer patients as needed for further evaluation
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Promote the mission, vision, and values of the health system and adhere to service behavior standards
• Permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
