Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent Registered Nurse experience required
• Telemetry RN and neuro nursing experience strongly preferred
• Comfortable caring for post-operative neurology patients and a wide range of neurological diagnoses
• Experience using Epic EMR is required
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Ability to manage patient ratios of approximately 1:5
• Must be comfortable working night shifts, weekends, and floating as needed to meet unit needs
• Strong skills in dysrhythmia interpretation, telemetry monitoring, and neuro stepdown care

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality bedside care to telemetry and neuro patients with complex medical needs
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, neurological status, and post-surgical recovery closely
• Support patients with conditions such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, and post-neurosurgical recovery
• Administer and monitor treatments including BiPAP/CPAP support and procedural sedation as appropriate
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure safe, efficient, and patient-centered care
• Document accurately in Epic and maintain compliance with unit standards and protocols
• Float between units or nearby sister locations as needed to support patient care
• Deliver compassionate care while maintaining excellent communication with patients, families, and care teams
