Join our team as a Travel RN in Telemetry at a leading acute-care hospital in Independence, MO. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing care for patients in a 36-bed cardiac telemetry unit. You will be part of a dedicated team committed to delivering high-quality patient care.

Unit Information:

  • Number of Beds: 36
  • Number of Staff: 70
  • Patient Ratios: 4 to 5:1
  • Type of Equipment: Pyxis, Alaris pumps, Welch Allen Vitals machines
  • EMR: Meditech

Skill Set Most Recruited For:

  • Must Have: ACLS, experience recovering post-cath patients (no sheath removal), pacemaker placements, stroke patients, amiodarone drips, Cardizem drips.
  • Preferred: Candidates with additional telemetry experience will be prioritized.

We are looking for a fast-paced, high-energy individual with a strong sense of teamwork to thrive in this dynamic environment.

Required Certifications:

  • ACLS

Floating Areas:

  • Other telemetry departments, med-surg, PCU

Dress Code:

  • Scrub Color/Attire: Grey for RNs

Weekends and On-Call:

  • 3 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule. Friday and Saturday for nights, Saturday and Sunday for days.
