Unit Specifics:
Number of Beds :20 private
Patient Ratios : 4:1 total patient care, 5:1 w/ a patient care tech
Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : 1 tech usually 4-5 nurses on the floor
Type of equipment : Alaris IV Pumps, CADD epidural, Alaris PCA, Pyxis Medication Dispensing Machine, telemetry, EKG, bladder scanner, wound vacs, capnostream machines, SCD Pumps
Documentation system: Medi tech
Scheduling requirements: Every 3rd weekend, two Mondays and Fridays per 4 week scheduling period
On Call Requirements:
Floating policy: To like medical/surgical/telemetry units including ortho neuro center, med/tele, 4N, CDU Patient Experience requirements: high paced unit
Hospital Specifics-
Certifications: Center of Excellence in Colorectal and Robotics, MBSAQIP certified in Bariatric surgery
