Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN - Telemetry for a Med Surg unit requiring a CO or compact RN license and at least 1 year of specialty experience.

Details

• Med Surg 3 unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
• May float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• May be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• Active RN license (CO or compact) required, no pending license accepted
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required, must not expire prior to start
• ACLS, NRP, or PALS certification required as appropriate for the unit
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the specialty being submitted for required
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Performs independent nursing functions and delegated medical duties, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
• Provides health teaching, counseling, and therapeutic treatment to support patient recovery
• Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Refers patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed
• Promotes organizational mission, vision, and values, adhering to service behavior standards
• Background check and drug screening required, with results typically taking at least 2 weeks
• Former permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
