Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our medical team. This position involves providing high-quality patient care in a variety of settings, utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state regulations and facility policies.

Position Details

  • Duration: 13 Weeks
  • Shift: Day Shift - 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM (3/12's)
  • Weekend Requirement: 6 weekend shifts within a 6-week schedule

Additional Information

This is a float pool position, requiring flexibility to rotate between departments and multiple locations within the region.

Qualifications

  • Active Arizona RN License
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
  • Patient-to-nurse ratio of 6:1
  • Experience with Cerner EMR is preferred

Role Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for:

  • Utilizing critical thinking skills and scientific judgment to deliver safe patient care.
  • Planning and anticipating patient needs in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Maintaining clinical competencies through ongoing education and training.
  • Delegating patient care responsibilities to support staff based on their education and experience.
  • Providing guidance and supervision to ensure effective patient care delivery.
