Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Telemetry – Tyler, TX 75701

Start Date: October 6, 2026

Location: Tyler, Texas

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM). Patient ratio 1:5-6. Weekend coverage required for approximately half of the contract duration.

Highlights:

• 36-bed telemetry unit specializing in medical cardiac care and post-cardiac intervention patients
• Care for patients recovering from cardiac surgery, coronary artery stent placement, pacemaker implants, and other cardiac interventions
• All private rooms with a diverse patient population ranging from young adults to geriatric patients
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, physical therapy, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
• 13-week travel assignment with orientation provided

Requirements:

• Active RN license (state or compact) required at time of application
• Minimum 2 years of telemetry nursing experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring, cardiac care, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, post-cardiac procedures, IV management, and vasoactive drip management
• Experience with accessing/managing ports, arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP, pre/post hemodialysis management, sheath removal, and tracheostomy care preferred
• Must complete core compliance items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing
