Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Telemetry – Tyler, TX 75701

Start Date: October 6, 2026

Location: Tyler, Texas

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM). Patient ratio 1:6. 36-bed unit with float requirements to units of equal acuity. Weekend coverage required (approximately half of weekends per contract).

  • Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, Rapid Response Teams, and more
  • Epic charting system with 36 hours of orientation provided
  • Opportunity to work with adult and geriatric patient populations
  • One pre-approved time off period available during contract

Requirements:

  • Active RN license (state or compact license must be in hand at time of submission)
  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience preferred
  • Previous travel nursing experience required
  • BLS certification required
  • Epic charting system experience required
  • Trauma Level I experience preferred
  • Strong telemetry skills including cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, blood product administration, central line care, and IV management
  • Experience with BiPAP/CPAP, tracheostomy care, wound care, and various specialized equipment preferred
  • Must complete core compliance items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing
  • Geographic restrictions apply; candidates residing in certain local counties are not eligible
