Job Summary:
Telemetry Nurse in Salem, Massachusetts. This role involves floating throughout the hospital to various Med/Surg Telemetry units, providing care to a diverse patient population. The position requires flexibility to work rotating shifts, including days, evenings, and nights, with a schedule of 36 hours per week.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Rotating shifts including days, evenings, and nights with 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license; American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; 2 years of acute care hospital experience in one location; 2 years working as a Traveler.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in telemetry monitoring including measuring intervals and interpreting strips every 4 hours; TR Band experience; capable of performing cardiac drips and reading tele strips.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required to cover up to 8 different units within the hospital.
  • Additional Information: Responsibilities include cardiac monitoring, cardiac drips reading, tele strips interpretation, and providing care for patients in the emergency department, mental health units, and intensive care transfer patients. The EMR for charting is EPIC.
