Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Telemetry Nurse (MS TELE) position located in Salem, Massachusetts. This role involves providing nursing care on a private orthopedics and neurology medical/surgical unit with a bed capacity of 32. The shift is during the night hours, with a schedule of 12 hours per shift, and a minimum of 36 hours per week. The unit admits scheduled orthopedic, neuro, and medical overflow patients, including fractures and neurological cases. The candidate must be able to read tele strips and possess strong telemetry assessment skills.

Preferred Qualifications: ACLS certification (preferred)
Floats: Travelers are required to float to applicable units when requested
Additional Information: The unit primarily admits scheduled orthopedic and neurology patients, with patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:6 depending on shift. The unit utilizes EPIC electronic health record system. Shifts may include rotations between 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., or 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. for day shift rotators; night positions do not rotate.
