Job Summary:
Telemetry Nurse (RN) - Salem, Massachusetts. This position involves float coverage across multiple hospital units during night shifts. The role includes cardiac monitoring, reading telemetry strips, administering cardiac drips, and providing patient care in various acute care settings.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Active Massachusetts RN License, AHA Basic Life Support (BLS). 2 years of acute care hospital experience in one location and 2 years working as a traveler.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in telemetry monitoring, reading telemetry strips every 4 hours, and experience with TR Band.
- Float: Float rotation may be required, covering 8 different hospital units including Med/Surg Tele areas, Emergency Department, and ICU.
- Additional Information: Responsible for cardiac monitoring, cardiac drips, and reading telemetry strips. The position requires ability to perform cardiac drips and interpret telemetry strips, with nurse-to-patient ratios of up to 6:1 during night shifts. The EMR system used is EPIC.
