Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Ability to work night shift travel nursing assignments with a flexible schedule
• Wound care experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to Med/Surg telemetry patients in an acute care hospital setting
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Complete patient assessments, administer medications, and coordinate care plans
• Support safe, efficient patient throughput in a busy telemetry nursing environment
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly in the MEDHOST EMR system
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members to support positive outcomes
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining high clinical standards
