Key Responsibilities
- Perform scrub technician duties in a cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) environment
- Support cardiac, vascular, and robotic surgical procedures
- Adhere to facility scrub attire policy: CST/CSTFA staff are required to wear Hunter Green scrubs
- Fulfill on-call requirements including 1 weekend per month (Saturday and Sunday, 48-hour call) and 1–2 weekday call shifts per week
- Float to the main operating room (MOR) as needed when no CVOR cases are scheduled
Required Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- Cardiac, vascular, and robotic surgical experience required
- Ability to fulfill call requirements including weekends and weekdays
- Must be available for orientation on a bi-weekly schedule
- Must purchase and wear facility-designated scrub color (Hunter Green) per agency staff policy
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel assignment experience in a surgical or CVOR setting
- Experience floating between operating room specialties
