    Surgical Technologist – Operating Room

    Contract | 3x12-hour shifts | Start times: 7:00 AM, 9:00 AM, or 11:00 AM | Day/Evening rotation | Every 3rd weekend as needed | Every other holiday | One call shift per scheduling period

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide surgical technologist support across a high-volume, 22-room OR staffed 24/7
    • Scrub in on a variety of surgical services including general, gynecology, GU, oral, otolaryngology, bariatrics, orthopedics, neurosurgery, vascular, thoracic, cardiac, plastics, podiatry, robotics, pediatrics, trauma, and spine
    • Must demonstrate competency in at least 5 of the listed surgical services
    • Support Level 1 trauma cases as needed
    • May float to other OR campuses as operationally required
    • Maintain a positive attitude, flexibility, and excellent communication skills in a fast-paced surgical environment
    Required Qualifications
    • Minimum 3 years of inpatient surgical experience
    • Level 1 trauma experience required
    • NBSTSA certification required — no other surgical tech certification accepted
    • BLS certification required
    • Candidates residing less than 50 miles from the facility will be classified at a local rate
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience scrubbing in multiple specialty service lines (e.g., cardiac, neuro, robotics, spine)
    • Familiarity with high-acuity, academic medical center environments
    • Demonstrated ability to float between OR campuses or departments
