Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide surgical technologist support within a short-term acute care facility at a 1:1 ratio
  • Participate in on-call coverage, including weekday and weekend call rotations as scheduled by department needs
  • Work weekend shifts in lieu of weekday shifts as required by department needs
  • Maintain readiness to float to nearby sister facilities as directed
  • Must commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
  • Complete required orientation modules prior to and during start of assignment
Required Qualifications
  • Active NBSTSA certification required
  • Minimum of 1 year of surgical technologist experience required
  • Valid state license or compact license must be in hand at time of submission
  • Must have 2 references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years
  • Must disclose any prior work history at a Providence facility (location and dates) at time of submission
  • Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a standard travel candidate (locals accepted at a different rate)
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Experience charting in Epic
  • Flexibility with scheduling, including holiday and on-call commitments
  • Experience working in a high-volume acute care surgical environment
