Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg RN for a night shift position requiring at least 2 years of specialty experience in a high-acuity, Level 1 trauma center setting.

Details

• Medical/Surgical unit with general M/S patients and oncology overflow cases
• Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
• Deferred scheduling type with 36 guaranteed weekly hours
• Expected to work 4 weekend shifts per month
• Block scheduling generally not approved
• EPIC EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active GA or Compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Medical/Surgical specialty
• Experience in high-acuity, high-volume trauma hospital settings required
• Proven success managing critical, fast-paced, large-scale trauma cases required
• Experience limited to small or low-volume hospitals not accepted
• Work history with no gaps greater than 60 days required for consideration
• Skills checklist matching specialty required
• Certification card and Nursys license verification required for consideration

• Level 1 trauma center providing high-acuity, complex inner-city care
• No RTO permitted during contract
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate as travel rate
