Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) registered nurse position available in a short-term acute care facility. This role involves providing specialized care to adult and geriatric patients with cardiac drip experience, including managing and titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips. The shift is scheduled for nights, with a workweek minimum of 36 hours, and a start date of October 5, 2026, extending through January 4, 2027.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting 10/05/2026 and ending 01/04/2027.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid state license (compact license accepted), at least 1 year of clinical experience, proficiency in Epic charting system, and certifications including ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Previous charge nurse experience, community hospital experience, and cardiac drip management with titration.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required if overstaffed.
  • Additional Information: Must be able to manage and titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips, including cardiac monitoring and advanced cardiac care procedures. Candidates are required to work a minimum of three of the five major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day) and must request all RTO and scheduling preferences upfront during submittal. References covering the last three years are required, and all candidates must have at least one year of experience in a relevant clinical setting.
