RadHealth+ is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Dayton, Ohio.

Cardiac Stepdown/PCU RN - Miami Valley Hospital, OH

Unit Details

36-bed Cardiac Stepdown/HRRU
Ratios: 1:4-6
Epic charting required

Required Experience

Stepdown/PCU experience required (ICU experience alone does not qualify)
Must have CABG and valve post-op experience
Cardiac Stepdown experience required
Application must show experience managing a 1:5 ratio in a Stepdown/PCU setting
Minimum 1.5 years of experience
Level I or Level II experience preferred
Travel experience preferred

Patient Population

CABG, valve replacements, MitraClip, TAVR
Thoracotomy, pneumothorax, hemothorax, chest tubes
Advanced cardiac patients requiring continuous telemetry monitoring

Required Certifications/Skills

BLS
ACLS
NIHSS
IV starts
Cardiac drip titration
Telemetry/EKG interpretation
Must pass online EKG competency assessment before start

Scheduling & Floating

48-hour contract
Every other weekend and holiday required
Traveler is first to float
Floating within Premier Health facilities and specialty clusters required
