Description
American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a NICU/PICU night shift position requiring 2+ years of specialty experience and ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.
Details
- Work in a NICU/PICU respiratory therapy unit
- Night shift, 3x12 hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
- Every other weekend and holiday coverage required, including at least every other Sunday
- May float within the hospital, potentially to an additional campus
- Epic charting experience preferred
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in NICU/PICU specialty
- Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
- Valid state license required if applicable (Single State OH or Multi-State License)
- Supervisor reference within the past 2 years required for consideration
- First-time travelers will be considered, provided they meet the 2-year specialty experience requirement
Additional Information
- Provide respiratory care services to NICU and PICU patient populations
- RTO requests must be submitted at time of consideration and cannot exceed 5 days total
- Block scheduling requests are only accepted for weekends (Friday-Sunday)
- Previous employees of the facility are ineligible to apply for contract positions within 1 year of their termination date
- Candidates within 50 miles of the facility will be considered local and subject to local pay rates
- An additional background check and fingerprinting will be required onsite on the first day of assignment
