Description

American Traveler is hiring a Rehab RN for an inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital, requiring an active IN or compact RN license and med-surg experience.

Details

  • Inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital setting with 59 beds
  • Rehab Nursing IRF unit treating patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
  • Patient ratios of 6:1 or 7:1
  • 12-hour night shift from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
  • Weekend rotation required every third weekend

Requirements

  • Active RN license (IN or compact) required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience required
  • Registered Nurse education required
  • Med-surg experience required
  • Rehab or long-term care experience preferred
  • AHA certifications required
  • Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Provide rehabilitation nursing care for patients with conditions including amputation, stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, cardiac issues, and debility
  • Facility accredited by The Joint Commission and CARF for Comprehensive Integrated Inpatient Rehabilitation and Stroke Specialty Programs
  • Team player personality fit preferred
  • Navy scrub color required
  • Report time is 6:30 PM and new arrivals should ask for the House Supervisor
  • Designated parking lot available out front
  • Candidates must live outside a 60-mile radius of the facility to qualify for travel rate
  • Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
  • Cannot be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment
